I think what you're doing is great! I'm fourteen too, and I work really hard at being a great pitcher. I'm going to be the next Jennie Finch but only if softball survives in the Olympics. I want to get a set of wristbands for my team but I don't have an eBay account. What should I do?
Send an email to SaveSoftball@mac.com with your name, address and how many bracelets you want. I'll give you the address to send a check to and send them as soon as I get the check. Hope this works for you.
Heyy Jamie it's Melanie. I just wanted to tell you how happy I am that you're doing this. Everybody at Caloosa supports you. Hopefully I'll see you on the olymic team! Keep up the good work! xD
When I was 12 years old I started a website called savesoftball.com for the purpose of getting softball reinstated in the Olympics. I created a petition for people to sign which was submitted to the IOC to show them that there is great interest in softball all over the world and it belongs in the Olympic Games. I am now a sophomore at Park Vista High School in Lake Worth, FL and although softball has since been removed from the Olympics my desire to play softball has never been greater. My goals are still the same, to one day represent my country playing softball in the Olympic Games. I realize a lot of things have to happen in order for me to achieve my goal. I must continue to improve as a softball player and more importantly as a person. I still hope that softball will be reinstated in the Olympics. I strive to do my best in school and on the field. I hope to continue my education and my softball career at the next level. I started this blog page for the purpose of keeping college coaches informed of my accomplishments on the field and in the classroom.
